Pulsator Jigs
Jigs are hydraulic machines in which a mixture of grains with different specific gravities is subjected to oscillating or pulsating action of water, fed through the sieve bed of the working trough used for the flow of enriched material, to separate the mixture into layers of grains according to their specific gravity.
Due to the size of grains intended for enrichment, the following types can be distinguished:
– Fine coal jigs–grain class30 (20)
–0,5 mm – Medium-sized grain jigs –grain class 70 (50) –0,5 mm
– Grain jigs–grain class 120 –30 (2) mm.
